Description and expenses of a round trip from England to Italy and Germany, June 15-October 31, 1820. The itinerary corresponds with that found in the Diary and correspondence of Charles Abbot, Lord Colchester, the former Speaker of the House of Commons, who retired in 1817 and travelled to the continent for his health. Philip Henry Abbot was the younger son of Lord Colchester.
